In light of current events, I would like to offer a safe space for you to feel, heal, and show up exactly as you are where you are. The intention of this ceremony is to release pain, heartbreak, and any heaviness that is weighing on your heart and to connect back to the love that you are.
We will begin with a silent prayer of light for the collective at this time.
Come connect with the wisdom and heart-healing medicine of Cacao, create a deeper connection with your heart, and fully open up to receive all of the love around you.
Sacred space is created for this ceremony to honor and receive the ancient wisdom from Cacao. I teach you about the sacred indigenous history of cacao, the process of making it, and the ways in which you may incorporate Cacao into your own life.
We make the Cacao together and infuse our loving intentions into the process so the Cacao may lovingly carry our intentions into our hearts. Each person’s intention, voice, and presence will add to the collective energy to create a community healing experience.
The Spirit of Cacao will guide us to connect deeper within ourselves while I guide you through a beautiful sound healing journey at the end with crystal quartz sound bowls, rainstick, drum, and Native flute, for a full heart-opening and soul-nourishing experience.
We will:
- Open up the sacred space and set the intention
- Smudge and energetically cleanse to release unwanted energies
- Learn about the origins, benefits, and rich history of Cacao
- Make the Cacao together and infuse our loving intentions into the process
- Learn, share, and sing medicine songs
- Receive the healing medicine of Cacao through the ceremony
- Relax into a guided meditation + live sound bath
- Close with a sharing circle and oracle deck message
What is Cacao?
Cacao is very grounding, healing, and heart-opening. It heightens our energy, enhances meditation, and helps bring clarity and peace. Cacao carries ancient wisdom dating back to its origins of the Aztecs, Mayans, and Latin America. Today, Cacao is considered a superfood because of its abundance of antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins.
About our Cacao
This Cacao is sustainably harvested, ethically sourced, and blessed by Elder Nana Marina Cruz and her Mayan community from Guatemala. Great love and care is infused into the whole process from drying and peeling, to toasting and packaging. This Cacao is harvested in a way that retains its superfood properties, healthy fats, and high Spirit of Cacao that honors the Mayan ancestral traditions. By supporting fair trade Cacao, you also support indigenous communities, Elders who carry the ancient traditions, the Earth, and the Spirit of Cacao.
