Clay workshop - exploring story and identity through clay

Write + Play with clay

July 3rd

6-8 pm

About the workshop:

The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate a container where community members can become present, ground into their bodies, and connect to clay as an opportunity to explore personal narratives around self-identity. Through guided meditation, physical touch, archetype cards, and playing with clay, the goal is for members to discover something new about their personal story of self, or if there is already awareness around a certain story, to explore a new angle or perspective. I’ll include prompts to foster introspective journaling and a sharing circle for anyone who wishes to share their findings.

The last 30 min of the workshop will be dedicated to playing and creating with the clay.

Anyone who wishes to see their piece fired can work with me. I’ll transfer any of these pieces to my kiln in AZ and just ask that the owner of the piece cover their shipping costs.
